Sloan Farro

Quinn
Age: Early 30's || Gender: Male || Sexuality: Gay
Following the loss of his parents at a young age, Quinn was able to scrape by on his own in the Mojave wasteland for a time, stealing from people in the night and setting traps for small game. His luck seemed to run out when he got caught stealing corn from a little farm. However, the family who owned the property, the Mercers, decided to take him in rather than dole out punishment.Hank and Emilia Mercer had three children and, after an adjustment period, Quinn mostly fit in well with them. Only the eldest son seemed to hold onto a certain level of resentment towards having an "outsider" join his family. Yet it was far better than wandering alone, Quinn reasoned, and the other Mercers treated him kindly, so he never felt compelled to leave.Of course, no good thing could last forever. Around the time Quinn was 17, a small-time band of raiders arrived near the farm and soon had set up an encampment. When the leader came to demand protection money, threatening consequences if the Mercers refused, the situation quickly escalated. Hank was shot. Quinn saw red.By the time the other members of the family managed to pull him away, the raider leader's face resembled a mottled pulp. Hank was okay, having been shot in the leg, but there would be hell to pay thanks to Quinn's actions. Before the raiders could learn of what happened, the Mercers urged Quinn to leave for his own safety, and he ended up doing so the same night. He never went back. Eventually, he turned to working as a courier, and was given the task of delivering a platinum chip.
Cameron Reese
Age: Late teens || Gender: Female || Sexuality: Lesbian
(Lowkey under construction since I spontaneously decided to overhaul her backstory)Cameron first arrived in the Mojave when she was 12 years old, traveling with her parents and two younger brothers in search of a place to settle down and start a new life. They had made it fairly far before the caravan they were following was attacked. Cameron and her family were pulled into the skirmish, and she ended up separated from them during the chaos. An NCR ranger saved her life some days later, carrying her back to an encampment and providing her with food and water. Unfortunately, the ranger had no idea about the fate of Cameron's family. Rather than become discouraged, however, she decided that they must be alive somewhere, and became determined to find them again.Of course, that was easier said than done. The site of the battle provided little to go on, and a child could only obtain so much information through interrogating others, even with the help of the occasional sympathetic NCR soldier. Still, Cameron refused to give up, and took on the job of a courier once she became older. That way, she could cover more ground and earn money for food at the same time. Even as years passed, her belief that her family was still out there somewhere never waned.Cameron's entanglement with Benny's plans happened mostly by chance—she had completed her delivery and walked away when news spread of a fellow courier who'd been shot in the head. She thought little of it at the time, but whispers amongst the friends she'd made at the NCR prompted her to investigate. From there, it didn't take long to get wrapped up in the war for New Vegas.
Sloan Farro

Age: Late 20's || Gender: Female || Sexuality: Bisexual
Originally from High Rock, Sloan first came to Skyrim in search of her adoptive father, Amastian. Although it was common for him to leave home for extended periods of time, after half a year, she felt something was wrong. During the trip, her ship wrecked off the coast of Winterhold, and it was a miracle that she even lived.Sloan began traveling as soon as she was well enough to do so. Curious about orc culture, she made it a point to stop by any strongholds she heard of, as there were few orcs where she'd grown up. Clues about her father were few and far between, but Sloan was surprisingly able to learn some information related to her birth parents. Coincidentally, they had left in the direction of High Rock many years ago...Just when Sloan believed she was beginning to pick up her father's trail, she had an encounter with a werewolf and was bitten. The experience forced her to slow down, and as a result the lead she was pursuing was lost, leaving Sloan without anything to go on once again.Frustrated and wandering aimlessly, it was only by chance that she came upon the destroyed town of Helgen. Rumors of dragons led her to Whiterun. From there, it wasn't long until Sloan discovered that she was the Dragonborn.
Casimir Vasile

Age: Mid 20's || Gender: Male || Sexuality: Gay
Casimir was born in a small coastal town in Sembia, unplanned but never unwanted. Though it was a meager living between his father's fishing and his mother's herbalism, both did their utmost to provide for him, and he was able to grow up without ever lacking for food on the table.Around the time Casimir was 10, he and his mother received the news that his father had died in an accident at sea. Without the income from his fishing, the two were forced to move to a village further inland. Shortly thereafter, a mysterious illness broke out in their new home, and the residents were quick to blame the newcomers. Casimir's mother was murdered, leading to his wild magic's violent awakening. With nowhere else to go, he ran. Some weeks after the incident, a traveling black market merchant found Casimir starving and destitute. Introducing himself as Dominick Barclay, he opted to take the young tiefling in as an apprentice. As the years passed, however, he began to make use of Casimir's magical prowess for dark purposes. Eventually, it reached a breaking point, resulting in another wild magic eruption that left Dominick permanently maimed. Once again, unable to face what he'd done, Casimir fled.Searching for a way to control his wild magic, Casimir traveled to Waterdeep. However, the Watchful Order of Magists and Protectors could offer little guidance beyond what he already knew. Resolving to find the answer himself, Casimir took up a life of adventure, a thing he had dreamed about since he was young. It was during that time that he was kidnapped and taken aboard the Nautiloid.
Silvia Rinaldi
Age: Early 20's (PoE 1) || Gender: Female || Sexuality: Pansexual
Silvia was born in Old Vailia, the fifth and last child to a family of low-ranking nobles. Although they weren't important enough to hold much sway anywhere, she and her siblings never wanted for anything while growing up.Since she was a child, Silvia's parents were always distant with her. They didn't believe in all the superstition surrounding the godlike, per se, but they worried about their daughter's existence damaging their already precarious image. As a result, Silvia was strictly confined to the grounds of the Rinaldi estate, although she had every need provided for.Meanwhile, Silvia's siblings doted on her, and were quick to become protective of her. They regularly smuggled her into town to experience life outside or brought home treats from the market. She ended up becoming especially close with the second oldest of the Rinaldi siblings, her sister Fiorella. All her life, Silvia was drawn to the arts—as she grew, she experimented with everything from sculpture to sketching, eventually finding her passion in painting. After a time, she even honed her skills enough to begin making money from it. Once Silvia saved enough, she left home to travel and find new sources of inspiration, leading to the events that began her journey as a Watcher.
